FAQ's

  • Do not override Handwriting, Social Studies (1-2), Science (1-2). If you would like to add one final grade, just add one assignment to that subject with the grade you want to show as the final grade.
  • Total Points vs. Category Weights
    • Total Points means all your points will be added up for the whole nine weeks and divided by the points possible. This would mean that not all of your assignments would be out of 100 points.
    • Category Weights are used so all of your assignments can be graded out of 100 points and each category can have a specific weight in the grading process.
      • If you use this feature you must first set up a category for your tests/quizes, assignments, homework, etc. and decided how much weight each category will have. This is a school level decision.
      • Do not give an assignment in any other category than you have weighted in that nine weeks.
      • Do not give a category weight and not give any assignments during the nine weeks. If you find you have not used a category you will need to change the weight to zero under Grade Setup Calculations so it will not be averaged in the final grade.
      • Remember to include an adequate number of grades for each category weight in each subject area each nine weeks. This grade should be representative of what the child has earned for that subject that nine weeks.
  • In Final Grade setup and nine weeks set up do not turn the little triangles as this clears any info you have entered.
  • Enter Handwriting Grades accurately (see above)
  • When doing a Manual override you must fill in all the necessary and it must match
